Woman sexually assaulted while jogging in Mansfield

MANSFIELD -- Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman jogging on the walking trail between Rose Park and McKnight Park West about 7 p.m. Thursday.

The two parks are about one-quarter mile apart with borders along Walnut Creek southwest of U.S. 287. The teen woman told a police officer that a man riding a black BMX-styled bicycle grabbed her and sexually assaulted her. Other people were using the walking trail at the time of the assault, according to police.

The suspect is between 25 and 35, approximately five-feet, three-inches tall and has a thin build. The suspect was wearing black pants, a black T-shirt, and had a white or light gray sweat shirt draped over his shoulders.
