Everybody talks about Southlake. But the big late-night crowds seem to be at Arlington Highlands. One reason is the new Piranha Killer Sushi.

The original Piranha opened in Arlington seven years ago. Now south Arlington is learning about the Forget About It Roll, topped with avocado and crawfish, or the Chef’s Boat sushi platter ($42.95); www.piranhakillersushi.com. The Highlands truly will be booming July 5 when it hosts an all-day festival and fireworks show.

Now open: A new Fuzzy’s Taco Shop at 115 Industrial St., Denton; 940-380-TACO, www.fuzzystacoshop.com. A similar taco and tequila bar is under construction at 909 W. Magnolia Ave., Fort Worth, in a former burger restaurant.

And the new Mac’s Steaks and Seafood in Fort Worth is now scheduled to open Aug. 1.
