Southlake, texas, Oct. 22, 2009: Watermere at Southlake, Southlake’s first and only master-planned development for homeowners aged 55-plus, is set to debut its three fine dining restaurants and officially open the doors of its recently completed 35,000 square-foot clubhouse and condominium building on Nov. 14.
Among the amenities and services available at the recently completed clubhouse that have been creating a buzz are the three dining venues – La Mer, Stone Bridge and the Riverbend Café."Providing five-star cuisine was a top priority when designing the members’ only clubhouse," said Scott Simmons, partner of Southlake Watermark Holdings LP, parent company of Watermere at Southlake. "Our main goal was to provide Watermere at Southlake residents with a wide variety of high-quality dining options to satisfy every mood and taste."The first of the three restaurants in the clubhouse is La Mer, an upscale venue that offers residents several courses with entrée options including apple smoked pork tenderloin, mint pesto grilled lamb chops, and herb marinated broiled Angus filet. Stone Bridge was designed to be the perfect place for a cocktail hour or light dinner with its extensive wine list, gourmet cheese plates, hand-tossed pizzas and hors d’oeuvres. The Riverbend Café offers residents a first-class lunch by taking traditional favorites such as fish and chips, sandwiches, hamburgers, salads and wraps, and using specialty gourmet ingredients to make each dish anything but traditional.
