  • 3 Day Potty Training: My Experience

Day 1 I was concerned when I woke up on "Day 1" because my 2-year-old daughter was already up. She rarely wakes up before I do. Why did she have to wake up early today of all days! I was sure that she already went to the pee pee and when I went to get her, she had already gone in her pull-up. Grrr. I took off her pull-up and put her on the potty.

  • 3 Day Potty Training

I noticed the website for 3 Day Potty Training  and decided to check it out. After all, it took a good nine months to potty train my son, so three days sounds really good to me. Several ladies from my church have tried this with great success, but I'm neverous, because the first thing required is throwing away all your diapers and pull-ups with your child. We start tomorrow.

  • Re-opening Fiesta at Taco Cabana

I met my husband for lunch at Taco Cabana this week and I was surprised with all the improvements they have made. It now reminds me of a small Rosa's Cafe instead of a Taco Bell or Taco Bueno. I love how they now have a hostess that works the seating area. We went to Taco Cabana was because my husband wanted me to try the sopapillas and we forgot to order them.

  • Losing Family Over the Holidays

My Grandpa died on the 27th of December. I can't tell you how shocked I was when I received the call that he has passed. My Grandpa was still living at home with my Grandma. In fact, they just celebrated thier 66th Anniversary this past year. I knew my Grandpa severed in WWII, but I didn't know much else. He really didn't like to talk about the war.

  • Ridiculous Return/Exchange Policies

I went to Babies R Us last week to exchange an humidifier that I bought on Black Friday. Babies R Us has a 90 return policy, and during that time, the humidifier that I bought quit working. When I went in to exchange it; Babies R Us wanted me to pay over $20 for the exchange because the item was no longer on sale.

  • Guilt Trips

I’ve never really understood why people can’t just ask for what they want. Instead you hear people saying, “You would do this if you loved me.” or “Remember when I helped you with X?” I don’t know about anyone else, but when I hear those words, it doesn’t make me want to help more than I originally was planning.
