Oklahoma man represents himself, receives 99 years

On Feb. 3, a Parker County jury sentenced Chuck Allen Little, 43, of Madill, Okla., to 99 years in prison for kidnapping a Weatherford woman in March of 2011. The jury also sentenced Little to 50 years in prison for burglary of a habitation of the same woman's residence. Little chose to represent himself during the trial, discharging the lawyer the court had previously appointed.Read more

On Feb. 5, Weatherford Police officers were dispatched to two different churches in the same general vicinity that had been burglarized. Officers responded to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2251 Bethel Rd and Cow Camp Cowboy Church located at 401 I-20 E, where representatives reported that sometime during the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) entered both churches in an attempt to commit theft.Read more
