The Mansfield Historical Museum and Heritage Center hosted a rag doll making class for several Girls Scout groups and home-schooled children Oct. 18. Two members of Yesterday Once More, a Civil War reenactment group, dressed in period clothing and attended. They provided the materials for the children. Unfortunately, the lady who teaches corn husk doll making was called out of town. Ninety-nine children, mostly girls, attended with their troop leaders and parents to learn how to make their rag dolls to take home.
