Sprouts planning grocery store off Camp Bowie in Fort Worth

As Sprouts Farmers Market prepares to open its first store in Hurst in early August, it’s also planning another location in west Fort Worth.

A permit filing shows Sprouts wants to open a store near Camp Bowie Boulevard and Bernie Anderson Avenue. Construction could begin in August and be completed in January. The company declined to comment on the project. Read more

New rules on reverse mortgage designed to make loans safer for elderly

New rules rolled out by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) over the next couple of months will make reverse mortgages for senior citizens safer.

Starting Aug. 4, reverse mortgages backed by the HUD, which is about 98 percent of the market, will be required to have the names of both spouses on the mortgage. Read more
