Arlington's GM plant, an economic anchor for decades, is growing again with more than $500 million in improvements on the way. The contrast with American Airlines, now in bankruptcy, couldn't be starker -- or more encouraging. Read more

The Moon Bar, a popular TCU-area night spot that closed on Berry Street to relocate near the historic Ridglea Theater on Camp Bowie Boulevard, won't be opening at that location after all, according to the theater's owner.
The bar's lease is now "null and void," and the space will become a theater/corporate event facility for 200-300 people, said Jerry Shults, a Dallas businessman who bought the Ridglea more than a year ago and is renovating it. Read more

Financial aid season has begun, and this year parents and students looking for federal grants and loans have an electronic tool to help them fill out the form.
It's called the IRS Data Retrieval Tool, which takes data directly from your e-filed tax return and puts it into the proper boxes on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. Read more
